Zimmfor works with clients to develop management systems that are tailored to build on
existing client processes and practices, using the language and methods that have brought
clients success.  We specialize in gap analysis and streamlined systems to ensure clients attain their goals (e.g., certification). 

Some highlights of Zimmfor’s management system and support services success over the past 15 years include:
Successful qualification of over 40 woodland operations and sawmills to ISO 14001
Qualification of a Defined Forest Area of approximately 385,000 hectares to the CSA Z809 Standard
Registration of over 350,000 hectares to the SFI standard
Registration of more than 50 solid wood manufacturing facilities and brokers to Chain-of-Custody certification (over 20 to FSC and over 50 to PEFC), as well qualifying over 40 woodland sites to the PEFC CoC standard
Designed safety systems for BC Forest Safety Council certification for more than 10 companies (SEBASE and BASE), including development of emergency response procedures and safe work procedures
Over ten years of EMS maintenance, internal audit training and compliance audits
Our approach ensures that clients receive management systems that are
easily understood by employees, are readily implemented and can be managed
by client staff with minimal effort and cost
